Since childhood I have
had a passion for animals, we have always had dogs in our home. As I got
older I soon collected a few guinea pigs, birds, chickens and rabbits.
There was a farm with a big open field near where we lived and I was
allowed to play there. That became my favourite place for many years. I
just loved to be with all the animals, and took my dogs with me too.
I got my first dog in
1993, an English cocker spaniel. She was 2 years old when we got her, her
owners were not able to look after her.
In 1995 we got our Labrador Strix and he is still with us today.
In 1998 I bought a West Highland Terrier, Totti , with a very good
pedigree but at the time were not interested in showing.
6 years ago I met an
English Bulldog and fell immediately in love with the breed. I knew that
was going to be my dog nr 3. I have always liked the bulldog in Tom & Jerry.
We live in the county
with plenty of space and have 3 km to the nearest small town where there
are a few shops. We plan to make our field into an agility and training area. We got
to training with our dogs and they love it, they like to meet other dogs
and I do believe that dogs do benefit from using their brains and learning
new things.
In 2004 we drove to pick up Diesel, this was by far a story with a happy
ending. It turned out that the people we bough him from were
running a puppy mill.
In 2005 I bought Munthe, I picked her up myself in Holland at a kennel
called Mojo´s. I got so much help and information from the breeder, saw
my puppies parents, and would definitely buy there again.
Our dogs live with us
inside out house and are a part of our family. Our aim is to breed healthy
bulldogs that are and as close to the standard as possible.
As I have said before my dogs are my passion ……
This
has been said by so many and it so true : Once a bulldog always a bulldog.....
